What data do we collect?
After logging in with your Google account, we will request your YouTube channel ID from the YouTube Data API. We use your YouTube channel ID to synchronize your liked songs with our chatbot. We store the songs that you have liked together with your channel ID in a database on our server. You can remove your channel ID from our database by unliking all your liked songs. Your liked songs are not visable to other users and can only be requested and updated using your account.
Any use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your name and profile picture URL are only stored locally after logging in. These are encrypted in your browser cookies to show you the account that you are currently logged in with. We do not save your name, profile picture, or any other data from Google or YouTube on our server except for your YouTube channel ID when you like a song.
We do not share any user data with third-party services. However, we do use Cloudflare services to improve the performance and security of our website. You can read Cloudflare’s privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/en-ca/privacypolicy/.
Cookies
This site only uses cookies necessary for maintaining your session after logging in. The previously mentioned name and profile picture URL are stored together with your YouTube channel ID encrypted in the session cookies using JSON Web Tokens. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
